Our 90-Day Parts and Labor Warranty
Every repair completed by Express Xpert is backed by a 90-day parts and labor warranty on the specific issue that was diagnosed and repaired. If the same problem returns within 90 days of the original service date, we will return to your home, inspect the issue, and correct it at no additional charge. This warranty applies to both labor and any replacement parts installed during the original repair.
The 90-day warranty begins on the date the repair is completed and the invoice is signed. Warranty callbacks are scheduled within 24 to 48 hours of your request in most cases. We do not charge a new diagnostic fee when you contact us about the original issue within the warranty period.
Replacement parts provided by the manufacturer may carry additional warranty coverage beyond our standard 90 days. In those cases, part-specific manufacturer warranty terms apply to the component itself. Our technicians will note any extended part warranties on your service invoice so you have a clear record.
What the Warranty Covers
The 90-day warranty covers the exact failure that was diagnosed and repaired during the original service visit. If a refrigerator had a failed evaporator fan and we replaced it, the warranty covers that fan motor and the no-cooling symptom it was causing. Any parts installed and labor performed during the repair are covered for 90 days.
The warranty is transferable within the original property. If the appliance is sold or moved to a new location, the warranty applies only to the original service address where the repair was performed.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover new or unrelated appliance failures that occur after the original repair. Appliances experience wear and multiple components can fail over time. A warranty callback is appropriate when the original diagnosed problem returns. It does not cover separate component failures that develop after the original service.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, or physical impact after service
- Damage caused by power surges, flooding, or fire
- Repairs attempted by another company or the homeowner after our service visit
- Failures caused by improper installation of non-Express Xpert supplied parts
- Normal wear and tear on unrelated components
- Diagnostic-only visits where repair was declined
100% Satisfaction Guarantee
In addition to our 90-day parts and labor warranty, we stand behind our workmanship with a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the quality of a completed repair, contact us within 7 days of the service date. We will review the concern, schedule a return visit if needed, and work with you to reach a satisfactory resolution.
Our goal is not just to fix the appliance β it is to ensure you feel confident and well-served throughout the process. If you have questions during a repair, concerns about the approach, or feedback after the technician leaves, you are encouraged to contact us directly rather than waiting. Addressing concerns early leads to faster, better outcomes for everyone.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds at Express Xpert are reserved for situations where the repair could not be completed as described, or where the same issue recurs and cannot be resolved through a warranty callback. The following situations may qualify for a full or partial refund:
- The repair was not completed as agreed in the original work order
- The same issue recurs multiple times within the warranty period and cannot be permanently resolved
- An incorrect diagnosis led to approved work that was later determined to be unnecessary
- Parts ordered and charged for were never installed due to a cancellation
Situations that do not qualify for a refund include diagnostic-only visits where the customer declined the recommended repair, repairs where a separate new problem caused the appliance to fail again after the original repair was successful, and service calls where access to the appliance was denied or work could not be completed due to customer circumstances.
How to Request a Warranty Callback or Refund
If you believe your situation falls within warranty coverage or refund eligibility, the fastest path is to contact Express Xpert directly:
- Phone: (888) 822-7754 β fastest option for urgent issues
- Email: admin@expressxpert.com β include your invoice number, service date, and a short description
- Address: 2145 NE 164th St, North Miami Beach, FL 33162
When you contact us, please have your service date and original invoice number ready. Describe the current symptom and how it relates to the original repair. Our team will review the history, assess warranty eligibility, and schedule a callback within 24 to 48 hours in most cases.
Refund Processing Timeline
Once a refund is approved by our service manager, it is processed back to the original payment method used for the repair. Credit card and debit card refunds typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank's processing time. Cash payments are refunded by check and typically mailed within 7 business days of approval.
Partial refunds may be issued in cases where some but not all of the work is disputed. For example, if the diagnostic fee is non-refundable but the labor charge on an incomplete repair is disputed, the refund would cover only the qualifying portion. Our service manager will communicate the specific breakdown clearly in writing before the refund is processed.
Diagnostic Fee Policy
Our diagnostic fee covers the technician's time to travel to your location, assess the appliance, identify the root cause, and prepare a repair quote. This fee is credited toward the cost of your approved repair. If you proceed with the repair, you are not charged separately for the diagnostic.
If you decline the repair after diagnosis, the diagnostic fee is non-refundable. The technician's time and travel are already spent. We believe in transparent pricing, and the diagnostic fee is clearly communicated before every appointment. There are no surprise charges.
Why We Offer a 90-Day Warranty
Many appliance repair companies in South Florida offer no warranty at all, or limit coverage to 30 days. We offer 90 days because we believe in the quality of our work. If a repair fails within 90 days due to the same root cause, something went wrong β either a part failed prematurely or the diagnosis was incomplete. We take accountability for both.
South Florida's climate is demanding on appliances. Heat, humidity, salt air, and hard water all accelerate wear on components. We factor that environment into our repairs. When we replace a part, we use quality components designed for the conditions our customers live in. Our 90-day warranty reflects the confidence we have in that approach.
Our technicians are trained to fix the root cause of a failure, not just the symptom. If a condenser is dirty and caused a compressor to overheat, we clean the condenser and replace the damaged component β not just the component alone. This approach reduces callbacks and protects the warranty we offer.
